There's a new menu item on the KFC scene, and no, it's not the return of the Krusher.
The 'Finger Lickin' Good' wrap comes in two flavours - Nashville Zinger or Secret Recipe Aioli, and having just got our mitts on it today, we have to say it lives up to its name.
The large flatbread wrap contains crunchy slaw and either a Zinger or Original fillet topped with either Nashville or Aioli sauce.
Around the office, lots of people thought the Zinger version had a nice subtle kick to it, except for one spice coward called Lisa who ran around as if her head was about to explode. Meanwhile, some reckoned the spice level could have "packed more of a punch".
Everyone was stoked by how hearty the feed was, leaving us feeling nice and full without the stodgy feeling you sometimes get after eating takeaways.
Sam called it "a KFC you can take home to mum," adding that the wrap had "incredible structural integrity rarely seen in the fast food realm."
"There's a pretty good spread of filling - a bit of chicken in every bite."
Amelia and Arju agreed it was "very filling" and at $11.99 a pop, pretty good value.
"Shit was bussin', for lack of better words," said intern Maia.
There was some consensus that it could be improved by adding cheese, which could be a bit of a hack to try and include when you order this.
KFC's Marketing Director said the FLG Wrap was designed to be the "perfect combination of flavour and convenience, for those looking to shake up their usual midday meal".
Just how long the new menu item is going to be available nationwide, we're not sure, but it's at stores from today.
