Lindt Chocolate is opening a second NZ store with ice cream, pick-and-mix and hot drinks

They're making the choccy truffles on-site too.

Kiwi Lindt chocolate lovers can fill their boots with twice the amount, because a second store is opening on our shores!

With one shop already in the North Island at Auckland’s Manawa Bay, South Islanders had been missing out on Swiss choccy - but not anymore, my friends.

Their second location will be opening in - get your final guesses in now - Queenstown!

Following the success of their first-ever New Zealand store, it’s taken less than a year for Lindt to open another.

They should’ve known how much we love our sweet treats.

Choco-lovers will be able to dig into Lindt's world famous Crema Gelata ice cream, chug a hot or cold chocolate made with loads of Lindt choccy, and create a 'Pick and Mix' stash to take home. Though, we all know it won't make it through the car ride back.

Lindt is keen for South Island Kiwis and international tourists to hit up this second spot - so setting up in Q-Town was a no-brainer.

"The enthusiasm and support from Kiwis who share our love for Swiss chocolate has been incredible. With our new Queenstown location, we’re excited to meet even more chocolate lovers and introduce them to Lindt’s finest Swiss chocolate, craftsmanship, and experience,” says Lindt Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler.

The Queenstown shop now joins the ranks of other world-class chocolate destinations like Zürich, Paris, Auckland, and Sydney.

The opening day has loads involved too and is going down on Saturday, April 5th, where visitors can watch chocolate being made up close and taste fresh choccy truffles from the pro himself, Schnetzler.

If you're elsewhere in the country and still hanging out to get a Lindt fix, they've just dropped a new flavoured bunny for the first time in 10 years. Easter really is a dangerous time for my sweet tooth.
