"We need to crack on and put it right," McIvor states.

In a bold move to enhance agricultural biosecurity, Sam McIvor, CEO of the overseeing agency OSPRI, announced the termination of the MyOSPRI project, resulting in a $16.6 million write-off.

He says the decision underscores a shift towards prioritising efficient traceability systems vital for accessing international markets.

McIvor also delves into the recent changes within the agency's board further that reflect a commitment to unified strategies for future success.
