A popular pie shop is trying to cater to their canine customers by launching gourmet 'cat flavoured dog pies' in their Mount Albert shop.
Muzza's Pies came up with the idea after noticing how many punters would give their dogs a bite of their pies - but don't panic, no cats were harmed in the making.
In fact, the pies are made with a "unique blend of rabbit and fish to mimic the tempting taste of a 'forbidden treat'," according to a press release.
How they know that cats taste like a blend of fish and rabbit is beyond us, but it does sound like a fairly good guess.

The pies are being sold from an "adorable, miniature dog-sized replica of the bakery, set up right outside the shop for an Instagram-worthy experience."
Muzza's Pies is also donating 10 percent of every dog pie sale to a local shelter called Chained Dog Rehabilitation and Rehoming.
John Williams, who owns Muzza's Pies said they've always been about "bringing people together over great pies".
"We’ve seen firsthand how much our customers love sharing a treat with their dogs, so we wanted to create something special just for them while also giving back to dogs in need," he added.
"And let’s be honest, the idea of replicating cat flavours in a pie for dogs gave us a good laugh – we just had to do it!"
The pies are $7 each, so your dog would have had to be a very good boy or girl to be treated to one.
Meanwhile, you can suss yourself a classic like steak and cheese or something a bit quirkier like chicken and apricot or Mexicani.
