Sounds Series is bringing the best of live music across three incredible events, and the countdown is officially on! 

Featuring Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD), Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Jon Stevens, Diesel, and The Narcs with special guest, Kim Willoughby it’s going to be three days of incredible tunes.

Whether you’re hitting up Auckland, Selwyn, or Hutt Sounds, we’ve got all the details so you can plan your perfect festival experience.

AUCKLAND | Auckland Sounds

When: Thursday, February 27th

Where: Eventfinda Stadium, North Shore – Argus Place, Wairau Valley, Auckland 0627

North Stand is SOLD OUT! Less than 200 South Stand and GA tickets remain.

Parking

About 800 onsite parking spaces will be available on-site and in surrounding streets.

You can access onsite parking via Silverfield (North Entry) and Argus Place (West Entry).

Limited mobility parking is also available.

Public Transport

People with bus tickets can catch the 4.30pm, 6pm and 7pm buses from Britomart.

Buses will leave at 11.45pm after the show. 

What not to bring: 

  • Animals will not be permitted into the event site (except certified disability assist dogs)

  • No BYO Food or Drink

  • Empty water bottles are not allowed

  • No cash - payments via EFTPOS/credit card only

  • Large, professional-type cameras

  • Glass of any kind

  • No bags over 30cm x 30cm

CHRISTCHURCH | Selwyn Sounds

When: Saturday, March 1st

Where: Lincoln Domain – Meijer Drive, Halswell, Lincoln

There are still plenty of tickets available for both GA and VIP, but they are in high demand, so if you haven’t already grab yours through our event page HERE.

Note: There are no pass-outs. If you leave the venue you won’t be able to come back.

Parking 

Parking will be available from 8.45am to 9:30pm at Lincoln High School for $10 (cash only) or book in advance. All proceeds go to student fundraising groups.

From there, it’s just a short walk from the school to the venue.

Public transport

People with bus tickets can catch a ride from Northlands Mall, Central Station (CBD), Westfield Mall (Riccarton), Hornby, Rolleston Drive, Ferrymead, Halswell and Pegasus.

The exact times and locations for departure should be attached to your ticket or sent via email.

Bus check-in is at 9:15am.

  • Umbrellas

  • Marquees

WELLINGTON | Hutt Sounds

When: Sunday, March 2nd

Where: Brewtown – 23 Blenheim St, Maidstone, Upper Hutt

Parking 

For sober drivers, there will be parking available via Railway Ave, as well as plenty of parking on the surrounding streets. 

A drop-off and pick-up zone (including taxis and Uber) will be on Goodshed Road, 2 minutes walk from Brewtown.

Accessible parking is available via the Brewtown main gate on Blenheim Street for permit holders only.

Public Transport

If you are using the train, get off at Upper Hutt Station and walk for 7 minutes to Brewtown’s entrance on Blenheim Street. 

Train departure times from Upper Hutt Station are at 8pm, 9pm and 9:30pm, with additional capacity.
