Justin Bieber's erratic social media presence is continuing to worry his fans.
Having responded to recent allegations of drug use by sharing a series of photos of him smoking weed, the 31-year-old popstar has fuelled rumors he's "not doing ok" with a bizarre live video on Instagram.
Seemingly teasing new music, Bieber rapped to the camera, swaying and wearing facial expressions that many found concerning.
“The dead eyes man," one person commented. "Soul is gone."
Another pleaded "please someone help him," saying he was giving “Amanda Bynes vibes," in reference to the troubled former Nickelodeon star.
Others referenced Aaron Carter and Liam Payne, two fellow popstars who died young and openly struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues.
“Someone needs to save him stat before this turns into a Liam Payne incident,” one comment read.
“This man is clearly not doing ok,” said another.
Others are citing Bieber's connection with P. Diddy as part of the reason for his downward spiral. The 55-year-old rapper is currently in prison awaiting trial on numerous charges, including sex trafficking and sexual assault.
Last year, a concerning YouTube video called ‘Justin Bieber’s 48 Hours with Diddy’ resurfaced, documenting the then-teenage Bieber spending a weekend getting "buck fool crazy" with a 40-year-old Diddy.
Bieber hasn't commented directly on the Diddy controversy, however fans felt he was referring to it in a recent Instagram story.
The 'Baby' singer shared a song that features the lyrics 'f*ck Diddy', along with some questionable animation and a picture of him as a child.
His ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez recently got engaged to Benny Blanco, who worked closely with Bieber on songs like ‘Lonely’, ‘Peaches’ and ‘Holy’, prompting some fans to suggest a betrayal from a close friend could also be contributing to the situation. Gomez and Blanco recently released a song called ‘How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten’, which is rumoured to be about Bieber.
Fan accounts claimed Justin recently unfollowed Blanco on Instagram following the announcement of the engagement.
Amidst all the drama, Bieber admitted he'd "always felt unworthy" in an emotional Instagram statement last month.
His fans continue to support him, with comments like "hope you're ok, you're so loved" frequently featuring on his social media channels.
If you or anyone you know is struggling, help is available.
