A video of a fresh-faced Fred Durst has recently resurfaced on the internet, giving us a glimpse of what the Limp Bizkit frontman was like as a teenager before fame.
The resurfaced clip was filmed in 1989 when Durst was just 18 or 19 years old, a full eight years before he'd become the frontman of Limp Bizkit. It was originally unearthed in VH1's Before They Were Stars, a series which looked into celebrities' early careers.
The video, which you can watch up top, looks like it was recorded as part of young Durst's demo tape, and has an extremely '80s vibe to it. Durst's rapping and dancing, along with his haircut screams Vanilla Ice.
After the clip was filmed, it took Durst another eight years before forming Limp Bizkit and taking the world stage as a nu-metal frontman. He was travelling around Florida as a tattoo artist up until the mid '90s, before starting to jam with his mate John Otto, then meeting guitarist Wes Borland. From there of course, the rest is history.
Lately, Limp Bizkit have still been amping up crowds of thousands, and even stopped off in Auckland for an epic one-off gig last year.
As for Durst, in recent years he's been rocking a 'Dad vibe' and this year, he's side-quested into the podcast world, with his 'Club Random' podcast alongside Bill Maher. If you're into UFO and conspiracy theory chat, check out the podcast here.
