'My son ate my dad': Mum goes viral for sharing toddler's mishap with an urn full of ashes

"This story is either going to be really funny in 15 years or something he brings up in therapy."

A mum has left people’s jaws on the floor after sharing the shocking moment she found out her toddler had EATEN her dad’s ashes.

TikToker Tash Jade filmed herself returning after popping out of the room for a moment, and when she came back, let’s just say horror ensued.

Ashes were spread all over the place, the furniture, the floor, toys, but most importantly her little lad's mouth.

It was her dad! His ashes had been sitting in a decorative pot on top of a unit of drawers… until the toddler got his hands on it.

Tash can be heard freaking out: "Oh my God. When your son eats your dad."

As her son began to look a little flustered, she added: “My son has eaten my dad’s ashes!"

Tash panned the camera around the room, where it’s a tough game to spot any spots clear of being dusted in, well, her late father.

The shock extended to the comments, where someone had written: “What do you even do in this situation?”

“No, but fr r u ok?? Because I’d be TRAUMATISED 😐,” asked another.

Tash responded: “I am nearly now.”

“I don’t think this is how reincarnation is supposed to work,” a third joked.

While a fourth found a positive sentiment, adding: “your dad will always be a part of your son now”.

As funny as the situation seemed, some people raised concerns about the baby’s health, noting that harsh chemicals used in the cremation process could be harmful if ingested.

Tash later reassured everyone that she had been advised to keep her son hydrated to flush out any potential toxins.

While this is probably a first for most of us, it’s a solid reminder to keep precious remains well out of reach of little hands - or, at the very least, seal the jar shut.

Seems obvious… until you’re faced with this kind of sitch.
