Forget ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ and ‘Hush Little Baby’, one dad has gone viral for getting his toddler to sleep with some rap-a-bye baby flow.
Normally it’s the soft and subtle tunes that initiate sleepiness in babies, but this toddler prefers Busta Rhymes ‘Look At Me Now’.
As her dad launches into the speedy bars, the little girl immediately starts to drift off.
It’s not the first time either, as the caption explains that the track is her “favourite lullaby to fall asleep to”.
Rambling off each line that clean and audible, this dad has certainly earned himself the title of Busta Nursery Rhymes, as one comment suggested.
Busta Nursery Rhymes - coming to a crib near you. 😂
His sweet little whisper of “look at her now” might just be the cutest thing we’ve seen all day.
The comments are just as impressed, with one person writing: “Bro, how the hell you know the lyrics to do this rn 😭😭😭.”
“Damn, can we talk about this daddy's rap game? Boy doesn't take a breath!” added another.
A third said: “I’m falling asleep listening to this too.”
“Look at me nap. Look at me nap. 💤,” someone said. And honestly, if there’s ever a parody, this is a great lyric suggestion.
“The way I whispered ‘let’s go’ like she could hear me🥹😂👏🔥,” a fifth said.
Others took the comments section as an opportunity to share their own tracks that work on the young’uns.
“First time my 17-year-old sang to his newborn sister, he sang ‘Get Low’ by Lil Jon 😂😂😂,” one mum shared.
Another said: “My cousin’s kids would always ask me to play this when I was younger and would watch them 😂 and ‘Paper Planes’ by M.I.A.”
“My daughter’s was ‘Bombs Over Baghdad’ by OutKast, lol. Girls are built different, idk man,” wrote another dad, questioning his daughter’s music taste.
Every baby’s got their own vibe, and any parent will know you just gotta do what ya gotta do to get these peaceful moments.
