You can now add a giant doughnut to your pizza order

Gotta call in some back up to finish one of these.

Our favourite mid-arvo sweet treat has just got a more than MEGA makeover.

Giant doughnuts have rolled into New Zealand, and they’re big enough to feed the whole family.

If you’re thinking ‘Ah, it’s just double the size of your regular doughnut’, these things measure in at a whopping 16cm and can be cut into eight servings.

Normally, I’d say I’m keeping the whole thing to myself, but this definitely calls for some sharing.

They’re all hand-made and oven-baked fresh at Domino’s stores around the country.

These doughnuts might not come in different shapes or sizes (they’re already HUGE), but they do come in a few flavours - Original Glazed, Original Glazed with Sprinkles, Cookie Crumble, or Choc Curls.

Served up warm and on the cheap too, for $7. Your bank account will thank you for getting way more bang for your buck compared to that $13 croissant from the IG-famous café down the road.

Plus, 20 cents from every doughnut sold goes to the good cause at Minds & Meals, supporting youth mental health and disaster relief.

With plenty of Christmas parties and family BBQs on the horizon, these are definitely going to be my go-to for potluck spreads.

To fit the theme, if you live on a doughnut-themed street, you can grab one of these gigantic treats for free.

On the first day they start serving - Monday 18th November - anyone who lives on Ring Lane, Sugar Lane or Round Hill Rise or Road can snag a mega doughnut with just their ID and proof of address as payment.

Right, now I’m going to be thinking about glazed doughnuts until next Monday!
