Ever rocked up to the beach and realised you left your snacks at home? Or worse… forgot the sunscreen?
You won't need to boost it to the nearest shop in a wet sandy towel this weekend, because Uber Eats is delivering straight to the sand at certain beaches all around the motu for the next two days.
For Valentine's Day weekend - February 14th and 15th - you can get a feed or any beach essentials available on the app delivered almost right to your towel.

While it’s not available everywhere, there’s a good selection of locations to choose from.
If you’re heading to the city beaches in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch consider it a done deal with a $0 delivery fee on your orders over $20 - which isn’t hard to reach with our hungry tums.
The same goes for a bunch of beaches across Invercargill, Timaru, Dunedin, Nelson, Napier-Hastings, Gisborne, New Plymouth, Whakatāne, Paraparaumu, Tauranga and Whangārei.
How to order Uber Eats to the beach:
Open the Uber Eats app and hit ‘Promotions’ under your account.
Enter the code ‘REACH2BEACH’ to unlock the offer.
Set your beach spot as the delivery address and pick from eligible stores.
Order your snacks, sunscreen, or whatever you forgot (just not booze, obvs).
Drop the pin somewhere easy to find near the road and leave instructions so your driver isn’t wandering around lost for ages.
And if you’re at Mission Bay in Auckland on Saturday, Kiwi legend Rachel Hunter will be there handing out some summer must-haves!
So, forget the forgotten snack run and lay back while your beach picnic gets delivered straight to you.
If only this could be a thing all summer long.
