The famous US bakery Cinnabon is coming to NZ and the menu looks mouth-watering

And not a moment too late!

We're used to getting sweet treat envy from our mates in the states, but now we're getting a taste of iconic American deliciousness right here in NZ.

Cinnabon, the bakery chain which reckons ‘life needs frosting,’ is planning to open its first Kiwi store by the end of the year.

I’ve personally been drooling over the idea of getting my hands on these sweet buns ever since they started popping up on my TikTok FYP.

The Cinnabon NZ website is already up and running, teasing all the sweet treats that are about to hit.

We’re talking the Classic Roll with cinnamon (duh) and their signature frosting, Caramel PecanBon, a mix of caramel sauce and crunchy pecans, or if you're more into chocolate, there's the ChocoBon, just like the Classic but with a drizzle of choccy sauce on top.

They’ve also got MiniBon rolls for when you just want a little taste, or feel like mix and matching flavours.

As for a beverage to wash it all down, the Cinnabon store will be whipping up specialty coffees and their Cinnamon Roll, Caramel Latte, Strawberry, Mango, Cookies & Cream Chillattas.

The first confirmed Cinnabon store is set to open at Auckland’s Westfield Newmarket, but that's just the beginning.

According to Cinnabon NZ Director, Kathan Parikh, they’re planning to roll out 10 to 15 more stores across the country over the next five years.

“I’m very excited about this,” he told Stuff. “The Classic Roll has long been a favourite of mine and we're so excited that Kiwis will soon be able to experience it too.”

Parikh added: “The way Kiwis received this news has been fantastic, so thank you! We'll be sharing more information about our opening soon and you won't have to wait much longer.”

Forget about holding your breath for Crumbl Cookies to make it to our shores, we're ready to get our sticky fingers on some 'bons instead!
