'Unbelievable, what the f*ck!': Dua Lipa stunned after bringing Neil Finn on stage for final New Zealand show

"Tonight feels life-shifting for me, cause I get to do one of my favourite songs by a Kiwi legend."

Pop superstar Dua Lipa surprised Kiwi fans with the perfect guest duet on the final night of her New Zealand 'Radical Optimism' tour.

After receiving high praise for her cover of Lorde's 'Royals' at her first New Zealand show on Wednesday, fans at her second sold-out show at Spark Arena on Friday held their phones ready, anticipating which Kiwi hit she would perform next.

The Friday night gig was the last of her ten-date Australasian tour, and Dua shared how Auckland had "a very special energy" as she moved into her "favourite part" of the set.

"Tonight feels life-shifting for me, because I get to do one of my favourite songs by a Kiwi legend," Dua shared.

And not only that, I get to have some help from this Kiwi legend who's here tonight. Give it up for Neil Finn!

The local music icon walked down the catwalk to a roar of excited fans, wearing a relaxed half-buttoned navy jacket and sneakers, a contrast to Dua Lipa's stunning sheer black lace bodysuit and luxurious feather boa.

Neil, equipped with his electric guitar, began playing his famous Crowded House hit, 'Don't Dream It's Over', and as it hit the chorus, Spark Arena erupted into a full crowd singalong.

The two on stage shared countless smiles during their duet, with Dua beaming and bowing at Neil's final note.

"Unbelievable! What the f*ck!" Dua shared with the crowd, after hugging and thanking Neil for their performance.

The crowd also couldn't believe how well the two sounded together, with fans at Spark Arena and online commenting it was "unreal" and "so good".

"An honour to be present for this," said one user on TikTok.

"This cover is PERFECT for her voice, I'm in awe," said another.

Dua Lipa will resume her Radical Optimism tour in May as she travels Europe, North America, and South America for the rest of 2025.
