The DMC DJ World Championships just finished up today, and the champion crown has been taken by 14 year old DJ K-Swizz (AKA Kalib) from NZ!
He went up against Japan in the final round of mixing, and took home the win after a close vote from judges.
The Auckland local has been gearing up for this comp for a while, starting DJing only 4 years ago at the ripe age of 10 years old! Gahd damn!
He became the youngest winner of the IDA Technical World Championship end of last year so everyone knew he was destined for greatness.
Hmmmm... And wtf were you doing when you were 14?

The DMC World DJ Championships has been a birthplace for a lot of upcoming talent, including even P Money, who wowed judges in 2001 with this epic performance.
Congratulations on the absolute talent that is DJ K-Swizz, on hitting the home run! Couldn't make us Kiwis more proud - CHEHOO!
Can't wait to see what you're up to next.
