'Happy Gilmore 2' trailer: Adam Sandler tees off with golf pros, familiar faces and his daughters

And we finally know when it's hitting the big screen.

Adam Sandler is dusting off his clubs and stepping back onto the golf course as Happy Gilmore with some fresh and very familiar faces joining him.

Netflix just dropped the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, announcing that ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ will drop on the streaming platform on July 25th.

The teaser gives fans a glimpse of Happy returning to the sport after years away from the game.

"I haven't swung a club in years," he admits, before confessing he’s feeling "a little intimidated" by his new competition.

“I guess I need to update my happy place to something a little more age-appropriate,” he adds before launching into a montage of the shenanigans Happy gets involved in, in the film.

"We're not done with golf. Let them see the Happy I fell in love with," Happy’s OG love Virginia tells him.

Joining the film alongside Sandler are original Happy Gilmore stars including Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, and Christopher McDonald.

Friend and regular cameo maker Rob Schneider was asked by Mai FM if he'd make an appearance in the new film back in May last year.

While not listed on the official cast list, Schneider admitted to the crew Sandler was trying to find something for him.

New additions to the cast include Bad Bunny (Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio), Blake Clark, and Sandler’s daughters, Sadie and Sunny Sandler.

Sadie and Sunny - who weren’t even born when the original Happy Gilmore hit screens in 1996 - have already starred alongside their dad in Netflix films like ‘You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah’, ‘Murder Mystery’, and ‘Hubie Halloween’.

Some professional golfers have joined the mix, too.

Pros Rory McIlroy, John Daly, Paige Spiranac, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Will Zalatoris are all set to make cameos in the film.

With Sandler back with a stacked cast, this sequel is shaping up to be just as iconic as the first.
