Stan Walker and his wife Lou might’ve just pulled off the best last-minute birthday surprise for their kid's birthday party.
“Who needs to book kids' party entertainment when you have Maui and Moana at home?” Lou shared in an Insta video.
Behind the scenes at the party, NZ musician JAZZ NOBODI lay on a bed while having Maui’s signature tattoos drawn on with a marker pen.
Meanwhile, Moana Ward got dressed as, well, Moana.
The highlight of the video, though, has to be Lou creatively directing the vision - suggesting they grab a paddle from the pool and hyping the two up before their big entrance.
As for Stan, mans couldn’t stop cracking up.
They hid Maui and Moana behind a group of towels - kinda similar to a major celeb MET Gala entrance - as they prepared to wow the kids.
After the countdown, JAZZ immediately got into character.
“How are we today? Can I get a ‘CHEE HOO’?” he asked.
And it wouldn’t be a Maui appearance without busting out ‘You’re Welcome’ - though we don’t know if that was part of the performance or aimed at Stan and Lou for his dedication.
Lou was definitely grateful, writing: “The vibe was vibing yesterday!!! Highly recommend last-minute parties when your whānau turn up like ours does!”
Everyone also loved how much the adults got excited before the kids.
“You know it’s good when the adults are having fun too! 😂😍,” one commenter wrote.
“You guys are so excited 🤣 this is the best 🙌,” said another.
A third added: “No one had more fun and was more excited than us adults 😂😂😂.”
Now, others want to book JAZZ and Moana for their own parties.
“Hahahah LOVE it Lou, can we book them for our parties too please! So, so good,” someone said.
While another has already put in their request: “Next, please 🙏🏽😂.”
Not gonna lie, this impromptu side quest for the two of ‘em might just turn into a full-blown kids' party entertainment gig.
And I’m sure their books would fill up quick as!
