WATCH: Girl goes viral for leading her 'proud' koro in 'precious' haka

"The ancestors are strong in her!"

One kōtiro has left her koro absolutely beaming after being the voice to his taiaha practice.

Mum Jaudana Tiaremoana Mahoni shared the heartwarming moment on Instagram, where her daughter spotted her koro walking past with his taiaha.

She instantly launched into a haka, chanting ‘Ka Mate’ so koro could show off his skills.

The whānau live in Hawai‘i, but with Koro’s Māori whakapapa, it’s clear they’re staying well connected to their roots.

“For those who know their relationship, know just how special this is 🥹🤍,” Jaudana captioned the post.

And it’s captured hearts around the world, racking up a whopping 1.7 million views in just 24 hours.

Honestly, koro smiling ear-to-ear at the end is all we needed from the internet today.
