Sometimes, there are stories that are meant to be told on the radio, and then there are some that aren't.
This yarn from The Morning Rumble's Mel Abbot - a travel story from years ago when she went on a girls' trip to Las Vegas and then Mexico - is definitely one of them.
However, as unsuitable as it was for radio, it makes for perfect podcast and internet content. So that's how we ended up here.
Word of warning: before I try to summarise this as best as I can (without my IT department red-flagging my account), this story is not for young audiences and contains strong language, sexual themes and, well, just grim life decisions.
Mel starts off by reminiscing of a younger time in her life when she and two single mates traveled to Vegas for a good ol' girls trip. And in her own words, they were 'feral', 'horny' and were like 'b****** on heat'. She certainly has a way with words.
They then met three American guys, caught on like a house on fire, and brought them back to their room for the night. Oh I may not have mentioned earlier, the girls were all sharing one room and it only had two beds.
Six people, two beds, one hotel room. You do the math.
The thing is, this story isn't even about that (that's just the set up). It's the aftermath where things get interesting. And this is where I'll pass the story over to Mel to tell. Watch above, and enjoy.
