Actor and comedian Jack Black has collabed with Foo Fighters member Dave Grohl for another tune.
The American has released a rock song ‘I Feel Alive’ that features on the soundtrack for the film ‘A Minecraft Movie’.
Black co-wrote the song alongside British musician and DJ Mark Ronson, and super producer Andrew Watt, who has a helluva CV, producing for The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Ozzy Osbourne and Lady Gaga.
While the actor handles the lead vocals, Grohl is on drums. Other features include Ronson on bass and rhythm and Queens of Stone Age’s Troy Leeuwen on lead guitar.
Talk about a stacked lineup.
Have a listen to the song here.
It isn’t the first time we’ve seen this duo of Grohl and Black. The Foo Fighters star has drummed on every studio album released by Black’s comedy project Tenacious D.
Tenacious D were roaring until taking a temporary break last year when Black’s co-member Kyle Gass joked about President Trump’s assassination attempt.
While we’re on the topic of controversy, we sure know Grohl has been in his fair share of it. He has been majorly avoiding the public eye after the announcement that he was having a baby outside of his marriage.
‘A Minecraft Movie’ comes out on April 4th, and it’s looking to be huge.
You thought the lineup for the song was stacked? The video game turned movie stars Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Sebastian Hansen, Danielle Brooks and Jennifer Coolidge.
