'Unreal' 10yo skater impresses Tony Hawk by landing insane 900 like it's nothing

"I can't believe what I'm seeing."

People are losing it over a talented 10-year-old skater who managed to impress even the most seasoned skaters during an Australian competition.

Skate fans turned out in the hundreds to check out Bondi Bowl Bash - a grassroots, skater-run skateboarding contest held at Bondi Skatepark in Sydney.

What those spectators didn’t expect was to be absolutely wowed by Hudson Walker, who, despite only just hitting double digits, pulled off a flawless 900 trick - two and a half full rotations in the air - and acted like it wasn't big deal.

"I can't believe what I'm seeing," one of the hosts said as he launched into the clean turns.

“After 50 years of skateboarding, I never thought I’d witness a 900 in Bondi Bowl, let alone by a 10-year-old,” skater and 'Terrible Happy' podcast host Shan wrote in an Instagram post capturing the epic trick.

“I literally burst into tears,” he added.

The crowd was gobsmacked, with many turning to each other in stunned amazement as Hudson casually cruised to a stop.

As everyone above the bowl erupted in cheers, Hudson was hugged and lifted into the air, but to him, it seemed like it was just another day at the park.

Having just won some serious cash, the ten year old simply said it felt “awesome.”

He’s now gone viral on social media, catching the attention of skating legend Tony Hawk.

“Unreal! I’ll never look at that pool the same way again,” Hawk commented on another video capturing the best angle of the trick.

Tony Hawk landed the first ever official 900 back in 1999.

Other commenters praised the young'un, writing: “Absolutely clean as a whistle. Incredible.”

“You make the Olympics look like kindergarten,” said another.

A third added: “Lil dude changing an adult game.”

Turns out 900s aren’t even new for Hudson - he’s already landed multiple, including his first on concrete, right here in Aotearoa!

Back in February, Huddy competed at the Mangawhai Bowl Bash, where he placed second in the Men's Open - yep, men's, not U16s.

Unreal stuff from the kid - he’s going places for sure!
