Wild 'Love Island AU' 2024 trailer teases major change to Casa Amor, toe-sucking and tears

“It’s never been done anywhere in the world!"

Drama is cooking in the first teaser for Love Island Australia 2024, with a major change to the fan favourite test for couples - ‘Casa Amor’.

After binging Love Island USA, we’ve had a week or two to collect ourselves from the absolute tea and shade. But it seems we’re in store for all that AND some with the upcoming Aussie season.

The trailer features Australian kween and host Sophie Monk in a bold yellow jumpsuit, welcoming us into her “Spanish love lab”.

Her latest experiment? Putting love “under extreme pressure”.

One of the biggest pressure tests in Love Island is the infamous ‘Casa Amor’, where the guys and gals are split between two villas and fresh faces are thrown in the mix to test their OG connections.

This year, Love Island AU is switching it up by introducing ‘Hotel Amor’... dun dun dun! “[It’s] never been done anywhere in the world,” Sophie said.

What does this mean? We have absolutely NO IDEA, but boyyyy are we in for a treat. I have a feeling it may get even more intimate than ever before - at least by the toe-sucking we saw in the teaser.

With Casa Amor missing from the recent Aussie seasons, you can bet I’ll be sat so close to the TV, my eyes will go square just waiting for the chaos to ensue.

Love Island fans also caught a quick glimpse of some of the castmates who are about to enter the villa and tipped us off in the comments.

While the show’s production has announced no official cast members, it seems influencers Kristen Bertone, Mia Paranihi, Tay Reid, Bikini Pro Athlete Kaylah Holmes, Niko Fotopoulos, Xanthe Wessen and Zane Prophet will all be looking for love.

Whether they’re bombshells or OGs, we’ll have to wait and see… can’t wait!
