'MAFS AU': Awhina's sister Cleo fires back at Carina for her brutal ‘low calibre’ comment

Not her bringing up 'Mean Girls' too!

Awhina Rutene‘s twin sister Cleo might as well be part of the show at this point, because she’s been dragged into the drama again.

She’s officially spilled on her confrontation with Carina Mirabile after those nasty comments revealed in this weeks’ couple swap challenge.

ICYMI - It was revealed that Paul Antoine and Cleo had a little history together, prior to Awhina and Paul’s participation in the experiment.

When Paul’s on-screen wide Carina found out early in the experiment that the two had a fling, she let jealousy get the best of her - and it wasn’t pretty.

She allegedly called Cleo “low class” before throwing even more shade and admitting to Awhina herself that she’d told Paul: “I didn’t know you’d go for that kind of calibre.”

After the episode aired over in Australia last week, Cleo wasted no time calling Carina out on her Instagram Stories, saying she was “hurt” by the insult - especially since she’d only had good things to say about Carina and Paul.

“I would have preferred none of my past relationships be aired, however, we’re here now,” she said.

“I found it really, really sh*tty, just because when I saw leaked photos of Paul and Carina, I was saying how beautiful she looked and how happy I was for them.”

“I had expressed how happy I was for them [to Paul’s best mate], and I was all in support.”

For her to then turn around and say I’m of low calibre based on my physical attributes was really sh*tty.

“We’re all out here trying to do better. Don’t judge anyone,” she added.

“That is what I call a mean girl 2.0,” Cleo said, referencing another one of Carina’s jabs at fellow bride Jamie Marinos.

Cleo’s not even in the experiment, but she’s out here carrying her own storyline.

She’s made an appearance in the explosive Family and Friend week - which we all know went down like a cold cup of sick - and following the sh*t show it was, leaked her sisters audition tape.

At this point, the producers might as well just give Cleo a spot at the next dinner party.
