‘MAFS AU’: Jamie Marinos tells us what she really thinks happened with Dave and Veronica

Gal's had her toughest week yet...

‘Married At First Sight’ Australia’s Jamie Marinos has had a rough week, confronting her sex life with on-screen hubby Dave Hand and taking part in the controversial couple swap challenge.

She joined The Edge Arvo crew to chat all things reality TV, spill some surprising truths about the paparazzi, and weigh in on whether she thinks Dave and Veronica have hooked up during the infamous task.

Reflecting on her toughest week yet, Jamie said she appreciated her couple swap partner, Adrian Araouzou, for keeping it real about why she and Dave might not have been getting intimate as often as she would’ve liked.

Having watched the partner swap challenge back - and seeing her on-screen hubby interact with his swapped partner Veronica Cloherty - Jamie shared her hot take on whether there was something more between them.

I think Veronica has a hard-on for my husband, I think that’s pretty clear.

The way the show was edited implied that something may have happened between Dave and Veronica during their three days together, but Jamie isn’t convinced.

“I could barely get a ticket to pound town,” Jamie joked when asked if she thought anything intimate happened.

“The way it looked, it didn’t look great, but I don’t believe Dave did anything with Veronica.”

After nearly a year in the 'MAFS' bubble - from filming to now watching the show air - Jamie says the return to normal life is a shock.

“When you come off the show, you’ve got these couple of months of downtime in this weird limbo where 'MAFS' is everything," she said. "Then suddenly, you just go back to your job and act like you didn’t just experience it - nothing can prepare you for that.”

Every person knows your name, everyone is commenting, and they all think they know exactly who you are.

With the show airing in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, Jamie says every day is “a challenge” as the world weighs in on her life.

“You don’t know what might set you off, but I’m quite lucky because people seem to like me. I’ve had such an amazing response.”

Jamie has been watching the show back to understand what went down with the other couples and to see what was being said about her.

But the most uncomfortable part is not the kissing, flirting, or drama that kicks off, it’s seeing her raw emotional moments and tears on telly.

And judging by the teaser for tonight’s episode, Jamie’s most emotional moment yet is coming as she confronts Dave about his true feelings in front of the group at the dinner party.o
