Gingerbread house who? The KitKat Xmas Cabin has landed in NZ

That KitKat Santa won't survive long at my place...

Forget the usual gingerbread house that nobody really touches, ‘cause this year, there’s a new edible Christmas decor to munch on.

KitKat’s dropping its very own Christmas Cabin kit, as delicious-looking as it is cute for zhushing up your holiday table.

I’ve never been one to reach for a gingerbread house - mainly because who’s reaching for a ginger biscuit? But that’s a conversation for another day.

The idea of a chocolate cabin that you can slowly snack on and share around without fully demoing just minutes after putting it together sounds ideal.

And it’s for all kinds of chocolate lovers, with white chocolate melts, the classic KitKat four-finger bars, Smarties, and even a little fruity touch with Allen’s ripe raspberries for decorating.

Each Cabin comes with its own KitKat Santa to guard the door - I’ll be eating his boots off first!

Nestlé Head of Marketing New Zealand Fern Castellanos says: “The KitKat Cabin provides the perfect time to break, get creative and connect with friends and family over a new sweet tradition.”

You can snag these cabins at Woolworths, New World, and The Warehouse stores around the country.

Right, I’m off to plan a cabin-building catch-up with my pals to kick off the festive season - who’s keen?
