First week back in the office for The Edge team, and we’ve got some exciting news...
Megan Mansell from the Breakfast team has just announced she is expecting baby number two!
"I'm feeling all the feelings with this second pregnancy," Meg said to us.
"Mostly nausea and exhaustion at the moment, but full of happiness and gratitude to have another amazing child on the way for Daisy to be an older sister too. It's been a few years since the newborn stage so we are just hoping it all comes back to us at this point"
After months of keeping it under wraps, Meg decided to share the news in the cutest way—with personalised Christmas crackers. Have a watch below...
One by one, they cracked open their crackers to reveal personalised keychains for each of them. When it reached Meg's turn, she revealed a little keychain with a baby on it.
“I got a little keychain of a baby,” Meg announced, beaming. “Because I’m pregnant!”
Hands to his mouth, Dan couldn’t contain his excitement: “Actually?! Are you kidding me?! Really?! OH MY GOD!”
The team was SO stoked for Meg, smiles and hugs were seen left right, and center.
Clint chimed in with his admiration for Meg:
“Meg is literally growing life inside her, right now, she has little bones that are being created, joining together in her stomach - women are incredible.”
The entire Edge family is over the moon for Meg, her husband Guy, and their soon-to-be family of four.
