Everything we know about Sabrina Carpenter’s Fortnite takeover and why it's dividing fans

Do you think it looks like her?!

The internet is losing it over Sabrina Carpenter joining Fortnite as an in-game character.

Some fans are living for it. Others? Not so much.

The pop girlie is taking over the game to headline Fortnite Festival Season 8, and she’s bringing a full glam package with her - do we expect anything less?

We're talking exclusive jam tracks, custom guitars, and two different in-game Sabrina skins to slay in Battle Royale.

The Sabrina Carpenter skin comes in two of her iconic styles - a baby doll dress style and a matching bodysuit similar to the style she wears during her ‘Short and Sweet’ tour.

The Music Pass this season is stacked. For the first time, it features multiple tracks from the featured artist, with both ‘Juno’ and ‘Nonsense’ being added to the game.

So when you’re building, battling, or just bopping around, you can now do it to Sabrina’s bangers.

She’s even got a full item shop bundle that includes her 'Tour-Ready' skin, back bling, a mic stand, emotes inspired by ‘Please Please Please’ and ‘Taste’ dances, a contrail, and the ‘Please Please Please’ jam track.

The gamer girlies are living for it, with one writing: “I'm obsessed with these Sabrina Carpenter skins for Fortnite.”

“I’m crying, the thought of Sabrina cranking 90’s will never not be funny,” said another.

A third added: “Why she ate harder in Fortnite than most pop girls do on stage? 😭”

They’re even sticking by each other in the game.

Someone shared a POV of “the refusal to kill another Sabrina Carpenter girlie on Fortnite.”

“I saw one get knocked.. I just HAD to save her 😭,” another added.

Others aren’t so impressed with the design, thinking the skin “does not look like her”.

Another said it looks more like Sydney Sweeney.

Another agreed, but thought it looked more like an AI version of the singer.

There will be two non-Sabrina tracks in the premium rewards as well - ‘You Oughtta Know’ by Alanis Morissette, and ‘Dark Horse’ by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J.

Let’s be honest, this is as close as we’re ever getting to the real thing, so we’ll take it!
