THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Lorde has teased potential new music on TikTok.
In the early hours of this morning NZT, the 'Royals' singer posted a 15 second clip of her walking the streets of New York to a song that sounds distinctly like her, but no one has heard before.
“Since I was 17, I gave you everything. Now we wake from a dream, well baby, what was that?," she sings over a catchy synth beat.
The video is currently the first and only post on her TikTok account, so naturally fans are excited to hear anything from the Kiwi queen of music.
"LORDE IS BACK, I REPEAT, LORDE IS BACK," one fan wrote.
Another said: "She always emerges when we need her."
"BRAT summer walked so Lorde summer could run," said a third.
Others ran to Spotify to search if the song is out yet.

A keen eye in our office spotted that Lorde's wallet chain is a design from Kiwi artist Ryder Jones.
Ryder and his wife Ophelia also shot the cover for Lorde's last album 'Solar Power' - yes, the iconic shot of her bum.
They've also designed artwork for Lorde's 'Solar Power' merch - okay, T-A-L-E-N-T.
The last tunes we heard from Lorde were back in 2021 with her 'Solar Power' album, but we were treated to a collab with the Brat herself, Charli XCX, last year.
She joined the remix of Charlie's 'Girl, So Confusing' and it was an iconic birth of a great friendship that was once speculated as a bitter feud.
The original version focuses on Charli's being unsure of where she stood with Lorde, as they were often compared based on their similar looks. In the remix, Lorde shares her side, admitting: "I never thought for a second my voice was in your head."
After getting vulnerable on the remix, the two have clearly worked things out and become the bestie duo we all begged for.
