After bumping up that extra placing from #2 in 2023, this marks the second year that ‘Everlong’ has taken the top spot in The Rock 2000’s 25-year history, AND the second time the Foo Fighters have placed at #1.
The Foos toured NZ earlier this year, which likely put them front of mind for voters, as Kiwis from around the country headed to their three gigs in Auckland, Wellington and CHCH.

The last time ‘Everlong’ won the countdown was back in 2020. Some would call that an Everlooong year thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic holding us under strict lockdowns.
