A woman claiming to be the mother of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl’s baby has revealed her identity.
38-year-old Jennifer Young allegedly told Page Six she had a baby girl with Grohl in August last year - while the ‘Everlong’ singer was still married to his wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum.
Young says the baby was born on August 1st, 2024, and Grohl’s surname is allegedly on the birth certificate.
However, she wasn’t keen on sharing the baby’s first name.
“There’s some really angry fans,” she told the outlet. “Protecting her identity is really important.”
Young is the second woman to come forward claiming to be the mother of Grohl’s love child.
Last year, an Instagram account, @valeriegreyston, went viral after posting pics of a newborn and claiming she was Grohl’s mistress.
Grohl’s team quickly shut down and denied these claims.
If you missed it, back in September 2024, Grohl shocked fans when he announced the birth of his daughter in a statement on Instagram.
"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," he wrote. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."
Following his public announcement, Grohl allegedly hired a divorce lawyer, but by November, he reportedly ditched the attorney in an effort to “work things out” with Blum.
“He knows he messed up. It’s one of those situations where you don’t realise what you have until you’re about to lose it. He doesn’t want to lose his family,” a source said at the time.
Since the baby’s arrival, it’s unclear how involved Grohl is in her life.
Grohl and Blum, who married in 2003, have three daughters; Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
Until Grohl’s team confirms whether or not Young’s claims are legit, we’ll be taking this one with a hefty grain of salt.
