Drake says his 'next chapter' will leave fans feeling 'uneasy' in a cryptic Instagram post

Everyone is confused by what he means.

Drake has hinted at his "next chapter" in a cryptic social media post.

The Canadian rapper took to Instagram on Monday to share a series of photos, including a selfie, live footage, a screengrab from the 2017 film Phantom Thread, and an image of two Zofran pills.

Also known as Ondansetron, the medication is used to prevent nausea and vomiting in patients.

In the caption, Drake revealed that his next project may leave fans "feeling uneasy".

"U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore (sic)," he wrote.

I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you've been sending me.

Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, didn't offer any further details or name the individual who has been messaging him.

However, the post could be a reference to his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar.

In a lawsuit filed against Universal Music Group (UMG) earlier this year, the hip-hop star alleged executives at the music giant defamed him by promoting Kendrick's diss track 'Not Like Us', in which the rival rapper accuses him of paedophilia.

The 38-year-old, who has denied all allegations, is seeking damages for defamation and harassment.

A representative for UMG rejected all claims in Drake's petition.

The hip-hop artist's upcoming plans remain unclear, with him having postponed several Australia and New Zealand tour dates last month as a result of a last-minute "scheduling conflict".
