An Australian man has shared a fairytale moment with his future father-in-law and I hope you have a box of tissues handy because this video is sure to get the waterworks going.
Dan, the now fiance of influencer Talia Rycroft, filmed himself asking her father for his blessing and the interaction that follows just about had me in tears.
In the video, Dan explains to Rycroft's father how much love he has for his daughter and her family, and that he hopes to one day be a part of that family for the rest of their lives.
In a rather choked-up voice, the father asks "What are you saying?", although it's pretty clear he knows exactly what is coming.
Dan explains he has bought a ring and would love the father's blessing to marry his daughter.
Both men are in tears as they share a loving embrace and the father tells Dan "You've got more than my blessing".
"We've waited for this for so long," he continues still hugging his hopefully soon-to-be son-in-law.
"I don't know whose luckier, the girl for getting a gentleman husband or the guy for getting a wonderful new family...what a blessing to them both!" one commenter wrote.
"When you find a second family like that, there's nothing better. Congratulations." another said.
The teary-eyed father jokingly yells "stop crying" at the camera to conclude the video as he and his future son-in-law wipe tears off their face.
The pair are now happily engaged and if that video is anything to go by, I can only imagine the amount of tears shed at the actual wedding will be next level.
