As if the petrol prices weren't already bad enough, Netflix have announced they are raising their subscription prices.
While the changes have only currently been announced for customers in the UK, Ireland and the US, we can assume that we'll be next.
Basic and standard plans for UK customers are going up by $1.90 NZD while premium subscriptions are rising by $3.80 NZD.
After petrol prices went up over the weekend and then hearing this, we're done.
A spokesperson for the company said "Our updated prices reflect the investment we have made in our service and catalogue, and will allow us to continue making the series, documentaries and films our members love as well as investing in talent and the creative industry"
The rise will be come in immediately for all new members, however, existing members will receive an email 30 days before they come into effec, so you'll have a bit of time to mentally prepare.
