One young girl has gone viral for her mighty pukana during a kapa haka performance.
A resurfaced clip from a performance at Te Mana Kuratahi shows the kotiro wide-eyed and putting some hearty mana behind her facials.
TikTok page @learnmaoriabroad shared the video which has been viewed nearly 200k times.
With eye contact like that, it would have been hard for everyone in the room to look away.
Commenters have been flooding to give massive props where they're due, with one writing: "Ingrained deep in that DNA .... Mauri ora!"
"Love seeing our tamariki shining through kapa haka and Te Reo," another added.
While a third said: "See you at the Matatini in the future."
Others described the hearty pukana as "tough", "fierce" and "beautiful".
Earlier this year, two twin girls went viral for making each other fold into a fit of giggles during an adorable lesson on how to pukana.
In the clip posted to TikTok by their mama, one of the girls has a great pukana and is trying to show the other how to do it.
But even in their best efforts, they just can't hold a straight face.
If you're keen to see more pukana action, a trend made popular by TikToker Te Otane had rangatahi up and down the motu posting their best pukana online.
The trend begins with people showing off a neutral facial expression, mouthing the words to the whakaeke of Manukura roopu performing at Nga Kapa Haka Kura Tuarua o Aotearoa.
They'll then unleash their powerful spine-tingling pukana.
It's always epic to see our tamariki and rangatahi showing the world how powerfull te ao Maori is!
