Pink receives giant wheel of cheese from concertgoer (which is better than a bag of ashes)

"I wanna kiss you on the mouth."

Concert fans have been choosing the oddest things to throw on stage recently.

First, there was Bebe Rexha, the singer of "I'm Good," who needed stitches after a fan threw a phone at her face. Then, a British fan of Pink threw a bag of her mother's ashes on stage.

At least this latest stage gift was warmly received by the singer of "Trustfall."

While performing her popular song "Perfect" for fans at Hyde Park in London, Pink noticed something that caught her attention. With widened eyes and mouthing an expletive, she dropped to her knees, arms open to welcome the gift.

"I wanna kiss you on the mouth," Pink exclaimed amidst her song. She gestured eagerly to her security guard to allow the gift to be passed to her, and she concluded the song 'Perfect' with a giant wheel of brie cheese in her hands.

"I love you," she mouthed to the fan, rushing back excitedly to the centre of the stage with her newly acquired prized wheel.

Firstly, how are people able to bring a giant wheel of cheese to a concert when I can't even bring a drink bottle with a lid?

Secondly, seeing Pink's reaction clearly indicates that we would become the best of friends over a good charcuterie board.

Frankly, we're just relieved that we won't witness her being thrown another bag of ashes from the crowd again.

But Kiwis, should we start planning the concert-sized cheese platter we'll bring for Pink's three shows next year? Someone can bring the chips, and we'll bring the Kiwi Onion Dip.

Pink's world tour will be at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on March 5 and Eden Park in Auckland on March 8 and 9, 2024. For the complete tour schedule and ticket information for Pink's Summer Carnival tour of New Zealand, click here.
