French band goes viral for playing 2000s club banger on literal trash instead of instruments

Giving garage band a whole new meaning.

A group of musicians whose instruments are a little obscure have gone mega-viral for their inventive covers of big hits.

Les Fo’Plafonds has gone mega-viral for their jaw-dropping cover of Benny Benassi and The Biz’s 2002 track ‘Satisfaction’, racking up 70 million views since September.

It’s so good that the band had to reshare the magic they created using pipes, stones, a bicycle pump and rubbish bins.

A funnel and piping laid out on an ironing board form the bassline, bin lids slam like a kick drum, and stones hitting the inside of a wheelbarrow mimic the sound of a snare drum.

It’s chaotic, yet everything somehow works flawlessly.

People love it so much, with some pointing out the creativity and skills of each member.

“That guy is one of the top session gravel throwers on the scene,” said one commenter.

Another said: “The bin lid banging is my personality.”

“Bonkers and I can't stop watching it! Bloody amazing,” added a third.

One of the band’s other top covers is a party go-to - Axel F’s ‘Crazy Frog’.

Their helium-fueled vocals make this one another fave.

“I’ve never seen this many things being turned into an instrument 🤯,” one person said.

“Industrial music is underrated,” another wrote.

Honestly, now that we’ve discovered these guys, we’re going down a rabbit hole and spending hours seeing how creative they are in making these sounds.

Dare I say, some might even top the OGs.
