From English Fields To Kiwi Hills: Ellie Cranswick's Journey In Modern Farming

"Hand-reared pet lambs are always the fattest lambs, they're always like the best-looking, fluffiest, whitest, beautiful lambs," she explains.

Ellie Cranswick leases a hill country farm in Marlborough with her husband Tom, works part-time as a farm consultant with Sheppard Agriculture and with Summit Solutions as a virtual assistant, as well as selling pet lambs on the side, all while managing their four kids aged between three and seven.

She delves into her busy life, moving from the UK to New Zealand with her family and what it was like adjusting to farming in NZ compared to back in England.

Cranswick touches on her pet-lamb-selling business, what prompted her to get into the venture, how she manages it around the rest of her work as well as balancing family life at home.
