Tragic Loss + Banking Concerns For New Zealand Farmers

"This isn't mobile or caltex, these are often mum and dad business owners," McIntyre stresses.

Richard McIntyre from Federated Farmers reflects on the tragic loss of Chris Allen, a dedicated advocate for New Zealand farmers, who died in a farming accident on Monday.

Remembering Allen as a "huge servant to the farmers," McIntyre highlights his legacy in freshwater management.

He also dives into the impact of the Net Zero Banking Alliance on New Zealand agriculture,  raising concerns over the potential anti-competitive behaviour of major banks, which are setting stringent emissions reduction targets for Kiwi farmers.
