Will Smith made a surprise appearance to perform his 1997 song Men in Black during J Balvin's Coachella set on Sunday.
The Oscar-winning actor appeared in costume as his Men in Black character Agent J towards the end of the Colombian singer's alien-themed festival set in California.
Dressed in the classic suit and sunglasses, Will appeared from a platform below the stage as the crowd went wild.
He performed the title track of the sci-fi film in front of a gigantic alien head alongside backup dancers dressed as Men in Black agents or aliens.
The Mi Gente singer, dressed in a silver hoodie, did not contribute vocally and danced beside Will during the first verse and chorus. However, they did the original choreography side-by-side during the "just bounce with me" section.
A behind-the-scenes clip shows Will and J Balvin rehearsing ahead of the performance. "Coachella here we come," Will shouted.
The surprise set concluded with J Balvin being dragged off the stage by Men in Black agents. Will then pulled out the neuralyzer, the memory-erasing device from the film, held it towards the audience and pressed it as the stage lights went a bright white.
Despite being hauled off the stage, J Balvin quickly returned to close his set with Qué calor, his collaboration with Major Lazer, and In da Getto.
The Hollywood actor, who is working to rebuild his image after slapping Chris Rick at the 2022 Oscars, previously appeared on the Coachella stage in 2019 when he joined his son Jaden Smith, 25, for a rendition of his song Icon.
