WATCH: Dua Lipa stops Sydney show to share emotional ‘full circle moment' moment with fan

She looked like she was about to burst into tears.

An Australian fan shared an emotional moment with Dua Lipa, thanking her for changing his life.

After struggling with mental health in 2022, Ben experienced an incredible 'full-circle moment' with the singer during her Sydney night two show.

Out of 21,000 people, Ben was chosen to hand Dua her feather boa during the concert - but not before thanking her for the impact she had on helping him find himself again.

“[I got] the chance to have an unexpected, unfiltered conversation and being able to thank her for her music and the profound change it made in my life at the tail end of 2022,” Ben wrote on Instagram.

In a video of the moment, Ben tells Dua: “In 2022, I was in a very low place, an end-of-life place, and that night, I decided to buy tickets to your concert.”

Holding back tears, he added: “I went to it, and you helped me find myself again.”

“Oh my God,” Dua responded, immediately pulling him in for a tight hug, looking like she was about to burst into tears herself.

To thank her for the impact she had on his life, Ben gifted Dua an A2 pencil drawing to show his appreciation.

Further explaining in the caption, Ben wrote: “That night helped me choose FIGHT! To fight on. That night helped me find myself again like you wouldn’t believe.

That show honestly changed the entire course of my life.

He described the concert as “a night full of fun, excitement, and wonder,” adding that he brought his camera for the first time and unexpectedly discovered a passion for concert photography.

He even captured a picture of Dua which he now calls his “favourite photo” he’s ever taken.

Dua signed the picture, which Ben now holds as “a beautiful reminder that anything can happen, and everything can happen in your life.”

He called the moment on Friday night “a true moment of unexpected connection”.

For anyone else who may be struggling, Ben shared a message of hope: “Just stick around to wait and see what else comes your way, because it could be GLORIOUS.”

“Music has the power to transform your mind, your heart, your soul. We all use music as the soundtrack to the best and worst moments of our lives, and some might just be lucky enough to let that artist know the power of their music.”

“I will forever be grateful for last night’s ‘pinch me’ moment. 🙏🏻”

A truly powerful and inspirational moment to have captured and shared with the world.

Dua Lipa is set to hit the stage later this week at Auckland's Spark Arena, and we can't wait to see the unforgettable fan moments that unfold here in NZ!
