In news I NEVER thought I’d be writing - an AI-generated video of President Donald Trump licking the toes of Elon Musk has played in a government office building in the US.
The video obtained by Pedestrian shows some, ahem, passionate kissing and caressing of AI Elon’s foot under the words “LONG LIVE THE REAL KING”.
And SHOCKER… it’s doing the viral rounds.
The video reportedly played on a loop for a good five minutes in the Washington headquarters of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development - aka HUD.
Maria Kabas - an independent journalist - was one of the first to share and report on the incident.
She explained in a Bluesky post that building staff battled to get the video to stop and removed from the office’s screens.
Apparently, staff had to manually unplug the TVs to stop the whole thing.
At the time of writing, no one has owned up to playing the foot-age and hacking the TVs.
New York Magazine suggests the video’s message might be a reference to Trump’s Truth Social post last week, where he praised his administration’s decision to scrap congestion pricing in NYC, declaring: “LONG LIVE THE KING!”
Trump backed himself by mocking the backlash he received following that post by sharing a SpongeBob SquarePants meme on Truth Social on Sunday.
We’ll be waiting to see what Trump comes out with after this stunt.
