A hilarious viral video of an exchange between Prince William and a little boy has captured our hearts after the youngin clearly didn't recognise the Prince of Wales.
The adorable video was captured during a surprise walkabout in Windsor as locals gathered the day after the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. In the clip, we see Prince William engaging in some top-notch banter with a bright-eyed youngster.
The kid seemed eager to catch a glimpse of Prince William, so he asked the question that's been on everyone's mind: "How long until we are going to be able to see Prince William?" - without realising who he was asking.
But wait for it... Prince William, with a twinkle in his eye and a sly grin, looked around, winked at the adults in the crowd, and said: "We don't know where he is. Have you seen him yet? Where do you think he is? Did he go that way?" He playfully teased, pointing to his left.
Of course, the little boy was both puzzled and entertained by this royal shenanigan. He even dared to take a wild guess at Prince William's name, saying, "Uh... the government?"
Prince William couldn't resist pulling off the ultimate magic trick to reveal himself.
He turned to the little boy and spilled the beans: "I'm not the government. I look like the government, do I? You dress like this, we all do. My name's William too!"
The boy's jaw practically dropped to the ground as he tried to process this new information. "You're Prince William?!" he shouted.
The little boy couldn't contain his excitement. He proudly turned to his mother and yelled: "That's Prince William, Mummy!"
Can you imagine the pure joy in his heart?
As Prince William made his way down the line, he bid farewell to his new friend with a pat on the head.
Hats off to Prince William for being such a good sport and playing along with the innocent curiosity of the little boy!
