Okayyy, can we talk about the pipes on Doja Cat during that James Bond tribute?!
Like we knew she could sing, but she SANG the heck out of the ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ theme.
Doja joined Raye and Blackpink’s Lisa for a James Bond medley, including the hits 'Sky Fall' and 'Live and Let Die'.
Litterally dripping in diamonds herself, Doja was the last of the trio to perform the track from the 1971 movie.
But, while many of us loved seeing her voice work overtime, it turns out there was a real mixed bag of reactions.
"I didn’t realise Doja Cat could sing like this," one person wrote on X.
"Doja Cat sounded flat 😭," a dissapointed fan said.
Bond fans certainly weren't convinced by her vocal chops.
"Doja Cat cannot sing and she most certainly cannot sing Dame Shirley Bassey. This is fucking DIRE!"
"Wow Doja Cat should not have sung tonight 😳😳😳," said another.
But her fans came in to defend her at all costs. "DOJA CAT IS A VOCALIST," someone reminded everyone.
Tbh, this accurately reflects our reaction here in the office.
Whatever your feelings are, one thing’s for sure - Doja put her ALL into that performance.
And that alone deserves a round of applause.
