Lil Pump is getting dragged after being surprised that no one knows him in streets of Japan

It's brutal out here!

Lil Pump is getting dragged online after a video has surfaced of crowds of people walking straight past him in Japan.

Footage of the rapper went viral on social media earlier this week. The clip racked up over 2 million views on TikTok and over 7 million views on Twitter.

In the clip, Lil Pump is seen standing in the middle of a very crowded street, looking confused because no one stopped for a photo or an autograph.

He continued to look around hopeful, then finally throw his hands up in the air and shrugged at the people walking by.

The video sparked hilarious responses online, with viewers mocking the artist's confusion..

One commenter said, "I love it when famous people don't get recognized and you can see it hurts their ego."

Another added: "He could stand on my doorstep with a T-shirt saying Lil Pump and I wouldn't know who he was."

"I would've recognized him but kept walking," said a third.

Lil Pump seemed to reply to the viral clip by releasing his own video on Twitter, this time of a small group of fans snapping photos with him on the same street.

But the dragging didn't stop. The man copped even more backlash after his response.

One Twitter user reckons the rapper hired the fans as "paid actors".

Another spoke on behalf of Lil Pump saying, "seriously, I'm famous."

A third described the interaction as a "sad little attempt".

There has been no further comment or videos from Lil Pump on the situation, but on the bright side, at least now he knows where he can go if he wants to hide from the fame.
