He was joined in studio by Gaia Wise (Hera), Luca Pasqualino (Wulf), Laurence Ubong Williams (Fréaláf), and the great Miranda Otto (Éowyn). They were in town ahead of the movie premiering at Hobbiton on Tuesday night.

The animated film is directed by award-winning filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama. The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is based on the revered books by J.R.R Tolkien and tells the story of King Helm Hammerhand, the legendary king of Rohan, and the battles that shaped the fortress of Helm's Deep, set 183 years before 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy.

Talking with the cast, they discussed the three-year production timeline, how they found their characters' voices and the challenges they experienced due to COVID-19. The cast also shared how they had completely lost their voice by the final recording.

"I fully lost my voice on the very my very, very final take of the film of my of my recording experience. To the point where they went, 'can you do another one?' and I went' " Luca says as he gestures that he can't speak anymore.

They also discussed how Miranda Otto felt about returning to her iconic role, Éowyn, and how she managed to make her voice sound 20 years younger.

"I thought we were just going to go with my more mature voice, but, no, they really want to sound exactly like and like, yeah...that was a process to try and get that back," Miranda shared.
