Deer are often hunted as pests in Aotearoa and across the world but are also farmed for their meat.
While most hunters would jump at the chance to have a deer less than a metre from them on a hunt, this farmer got more than they bargained for when one of their deer got loose.
TikTok user @Brookeyonz posted a video driving along a path in between two paddocks when a rogue deer can be spotted hurtling head-on towards her quad bike.
Right before it zooms past her the deer suddenly veers sharply leaping right across the front bonnet of the quad bike straight into the deer fence on the other side of the path.
The already wild situation only gets wilder though as the fence springs back flinging the deer BACK onto the front of the four-wheeler!
The dazed deer seems to recover in lightning speed however and quickly shakes itself off before zooming away in the opposite direction that it originally came from.
