Father-Son Duo Shine At Canterbury AMP Show

"It's good to bring the rural part to town and see children excited about animals," Mark says.

At the Canterbury A&P Show, 14-year-old James Taggart impressed with his Suffolk sheep entries, clinching third place for his ewe hogget and a reserve champion ribbon for his Suffolk ewe.

Meanwhile, his father, Mark Taggart, has been instrumental in revitalising the Boar Breeder competition at the Marlborough A&P Show.

The pair chat to Dom live from the Canterbury A&P Show about their ambitions with the Rapaura Suffolk Stud Farm.

Tightly knit members of the rural Marlborough community, Mark emphasises their efforts to continue to show the rural lifestyle to town folk and grow interest in what they do.
