Tony Hawk has officially met his new grandchild - whose other granddad is the late Kurt Cobain.
Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean, and Hawk’s eldest son, Riley, welcomed a baby boy last month.
Frances shared the birth of their son, Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk, on Instagram earlier this week.
“9.17.2024, Welcome to the world's most beautiful son. We love you more than anything,” she captioned alongside the first photos of baby Ronin.
Proud granddad Tony Hawk jumped in the comments, claiming the newborn is his “favourite grandson!”
Spoiler alert: Ronin is his only grandson.
Yesterday, Hawk shared an image of him holding Ronin on his Instagram Story - can you tell he’s chuffed?
Fans have been buzzing about the birth of baby Ronin, with some joking that it’s made them feel their "old age," while others are saying Ronin has the greatest granddads of all time.
“Imagine having one grandfather who is the greatest skateboarder of all time, and another who created a genre of music that defined a decade in one of the most influential bands of all time,” one commenter wrote on Facebook.
Another reckons baby Ronin is “The millennial royal family heir.”
“Tony Hawk is a Grandpa now? I feel old,” said a third in a Reddit thread.
A fourth joked: “If that kid is not the king of coolness in 20 years, we failed as a society.“
Many fans were in agreement that Kurt Cobain would be utterly proud of his daughter becoming a mother.
“He would have been so loving,” one fan wrote on X.
Another added: “I wish Kurt was here to see him ❤️.”
“The convos those granddads would have had. 😢,” said a third.
Congrats to Frances Bean and Riley on creating their family of three.
