Dream job alert: Get paid to travel with your best mate, taste burgers, or make your pet a star

The career change you didn’t know you needed (until now).

If you’ve been dreaming of a career change, you’re not alone.

Apparently, the last week of January sees a massive 245,000 people checking out their options on Trade Me Jobs PER DAY!

And with that, there’s some golden nuggets or should I say whoppers - literally - in the mix.

If you’ve dreamed of heading on a paid OE with your best mate, keen to be a chief burger taste tester or get your mom-ager mode on for your fury friends modeling career, start tip-tap-typing up your CV, like right now.

Kathmandu is on the hunt for the ultimate OE explorers, traveling the world for up to three months (March–May) with your closest pal full-time and paid, while decked out with all the best Kathmandu adventure gear.

Your mission? "To document and share your travels through captivating content that inspires others to embrace getting out there" - and make everyone jealous of your IG stories while you're at it, obvi.

Another dream gig on Trade Me Jobs right now is a legit ‘Whopper-o-logist’ taste tester for Burger King.

It’s only a two-day contract, but not one to be overlooked if you’re a serious burger enthusiast with a taste for a flame-grilled patty.

You’ll be “measuring, evaluating, and ensuring the quality of the legendary Whopper” across their Auckland restaurants.

If you’re looking for a longer contract, then Animals Like Us are looking for you - well, you’re furry friend - to be their next Chief Good Boy (or Girl).

They want you to have a keen eye for social media trends, ready to manage and promote your pet’s stardom while ensuring their wellbeing.

“You’ll act as your pet’s personal talent manager, ensuring they’re camera-ready and delivering pawsome content that captures the hearts of animal lovers everywhere,” the job listing reads.

“From performing tricks to showing off their goofy personality, your pet will be the face (and tail) of Animals Like Us."

Move aside, Moo Deng, there’s a new animal set to be the next TikTok star!

If you’re keen on any of these listings, you’ll have to be quick. All applications close at 5 pm on January 31st.

Texting my bestie ASAP while I also work out what skills qualify me as a certified burger devourer.
