Chris Stapleton NZ: What to know if you're heading to his Auckland Spark Arena shows

We've got set times, where to buy merch and most importantly, which songs you can expect.

Chris Stapleton is coming to New Zealand for the first time ever, bringing his 'All American Roadshow Goes Down Under’ to Auckland for two nights only.

It’s gonna be an unbelievable couple of nights on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 at Auckland’s Spark Arena. 

Joining Stapleton as a special guest - and also performing for the first time in AU/NZ! - is none other than the super-talented country artist Marcus King.

To make sure you’re in for the best experience, here's everything you need to know before heading to Chris Stapleton’s Auckland shows:

Set Times

  • Doors Open: 6:30 PM

  • Marcus King: 7:30 PM

  • Chris Stapleton: 9:00 PM (approx)

Note: These times are subject to change. It's advisable to arrive early to accommodate security checks and to find your seat comfortably.

ENTRY 

  • Check out this map HERE to find the best and the nearest entry to your seat.

  • Entry for floor-standing ticketholders will be via Entry C

  • Entry for floor seats will be via Entry G

  • Entry for bowl-seated ticketholders will be via entry D & E.

  • Entry for Arena Members, Premium Lounge purchasers and mobility access will be via entry B.

Download your ticket(s) ahead of time to speed up your entry into the show. Your tickets will not be emailed to you or available to print at home.

You might want to take a screenshot of your ticket for easy access on the day of the show.

Public Transport

The team at Spark Arena recommends that you give yourself loads of time to get to the stadium.

Using public transport is strongly encouraged by the venue as they are only a short walking distance from Auckland's Britomart.

AT's Journey Planner is also easily accessible to make sure you are getting to and from the stadium efficiently.

Parking

Parking around Spark Arena is limited, so planning ahead is crucial to avoid stress and delays.

The nearest parking locations to the stadium are as follows:

  • Arena Carpark (Dockside Lane, off Tapora Street, about 5 min walk)

  • Britomart Car Park (Corner of Quay Street and Britomart Place, about 8 min walk)

  • Railway Car Park (Te Taou Crescent, off Beach Road, about 5 min walk)

  • Tangihua Street Car Park (Tangihua Street, about 6 min walk)

Mobility Parking:

Onsite parking is available for concert-goers who hold a valid mobility permit. Mobility parking is limited and, therefore, is strictly reserved for patrons who hold a mobility permit only.

Merchandise

Official tour merchandise, including clothing, posters, and exclusive items, will be available to purchase at the arena.

The merch caravan outside the main plaza opens at 3:30 PM. Once the external doors open, bowl-seated ticket holders can access the merch stands on the upper level by doors 16 and 20.

A pop-up will also be available by The Tuning Fork once doors open.

While the official set list for the Auckland concerts is yet to be revealed, fans can anticipate a mix of Chris Stapleton’s biggest hits and newer tracks from his latest 2023 album.

Permitted items:
  • Bags 30cm x 30cm and under

  • Collapsible small umbrellas 

  • Phones

  • Small, non-professional cameras

  • Any certified disability assist dogs and/or mobility equipment

Prohibited:
  • Food and drink

  • Alcohol

  • Bottles (cans, glass, plastic)

  • iPads/tablets, and laptops

  • Firearms, fireworks, flares, laser lights and glowsticks

  • Smoking or Vaping

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Illegal substances

  • Banners, posters, flags or signs

  • Professional cameras (anything with a lens of 35mm or over) and other video or audio recording equipment

  • Selfie sticks
