Ben Todhunter Becomes First New Zealand-Based Director Of Angus Australia

"With the New Zealand outfit there were personality clashes and things got a bit difficult to work with, so it was easier to go one way," Todhunter explains.

Angus Australia has made the decision to appoint a New Zealand-based Director earlier in the year and last month officially selected Ben Todhunter from Cleardale Station to fill the role.

The first New Zealander appointed to the board of Angus Australia, Todhunter discusses his path from Cleardale Genetics to his new role, offering insights into the strategic moves following historical challenges with the New Zealand Angus business.

He sheds light on his family's long history in genetics and his significant involvement with the New Zealand Merino Company.

Todhunter elaborates on innovative strategies and professional dynamics at Angus Australia, aiming to advance genetic gains and customer satisfaction.

Reflecting on his role, he emphasises the importance of connecting farmers, genetics, and consumers for a thriving agricultural sector.
